Live Here, Love Here

Dromore 2000 secured a grant from Live Here, Love Here to refurbish and replant the area adjacent to the A32 bypass in Dromore. Volunteers from Dromore 2000, Dromore Walking Group and the town planted up flower beds with perennial, pollinator shrubs and flowers. This are has since been maintained, watered and weeded regularly by the above volunteers. This has given volunteers a sense of community and belonging whilst also enhancing this part of the town for residents and visitors alike.

Dromore 2000 have also been involved with Dromore Health Welling Being Group in ongoing litter picking around the town and throughout the parish. Dromore 2000 have also “adopted a spot” where they maintain areas and car parks around the town, keeping them free from litter and weeds. They also populate key areas of the town in summer and winter with large tubs of flowering plants. This all contributes to people having pride in their town.
